International Monetary Fund (IMF): International Financial
Statistics (IFS) and Direction of Trade (DOT)
IFS and DOT databases are compiled by the IMF and enable comprehensive
analysis of domestic, bi-lateral and multi-lateral international financial
environments. Data is available for most countries facilitating comparison.
IFS is a time series database of international financial
statistics compiled by the IMF. This data allows analysis of
the international financial environment. It includes statistics
on government accounts, national accounts, interest rates, prices,
and consumption. Data is available on an annual, monthly and
quarterly basis and has a history from 1948. Data can either
be obtained by country or by item, enabling quick comparisons.
